It is a tableware of a traditional craft called Arita porcelain.
Arita porcelain refers to porcelain manufactured in Arita Town, Saga Prefecture and the surrounding area. It has been widely used since the Meiji era. In the Edo period, it was called Imari porcelain or Bizen porcelain.
